We are pleased to announce that we will be reopening our practice, however to keep you and our staff from the COVID-19 we have put the following measures in place:
APPOINTMENTS: To observe social distancing we will be controlling the number of people in the practice at any one time therefore we kindly ask all patients to call ahead (0161 437 3042) to arrange appointments for spectacle adjustments, collection of glasses or the choosing of new frames.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT: Your safety and that of our staff is our number one priority and we have strict procedures in place for that reason. Staff will be wearing face masks for any direct contact with patients and full PPE in our consulting rooms.
HYGIENE: You will be asked to sanitise when you enter the practice and we request you wear a face covering. All frames that are tried on are disinfected, in addition surfaces, including ophthalmic equipment, that are touched are cleaned between us seeing patients in any part of the building. We are taking all these measures in line with guidance to ensure your safety and that of our staff.
OUR APPRECIATION: It’s been a tough time for all of us however we were delighted in serving the urgent and essential needs of our patients during the lockdown. We thank everyone who has supported us so far and look forward to serving our patients and the wider community for a long time to come.
